Fasting For Salvation & Restoration

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.
Ezra 8:23

Since fasting is one of our most powerful and effective weapons as we stand against the forces of Hell for the salvation of our husbands and the restoration of our marriages, some of the FAM Fellowship members are beginning three day, water only, fasts today and tomorrow.. We know the salvation of our husbands and the restoration of our marriages is a matter of spiritual warfare, and as Jesus said, there are times when fasting is the only thing that works. So I encourage those who are not familiar with the power of fasting to learn more about it and seriously consider fasting for restoration.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:20-21 (NKJV)

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. I believe every woman (or man) now standing for marriage restoration has been called for such a time as this and that we must seek the Lord’s face, favor and strength as we continue to do what He has called us to do, and fasting is one of the most effective ways to do that, so I hope and pray we’ll all learn to use this spiritual tool more effectively for the glory of the Lord.
