Victory in Jesus!
Since there are NO truer or more powerful words than Victory in Jesus as we stand for the restoration of our marriages, because our God is ever so faithful to keep His promises to us, it does my heart good to share another restored marriage testimony from one of the FAM Fellowship members that just goes to prove it! So here’s Rosalie’s awesome restored marriage testimony, which she posted on the private website today and for which I greatly appreciate her permission to share here!
“My precious family, I want to share with you the joy and happiness that God showered on me and my family Sunday.
I had not had contact with my husband since Valentine’s Day, when he called about the finances. I prayed and asked God whether I should call him and let him know I got him a card or if I should drop it off in his car or….. The Lord said for me to wait. I then replied to the Lord then I will tell him I have one if he calls. He called and was surprised when my first response was “Happy Valentine’s Day”. We spoke of generalities and then ended the call.
I have been praying and praising God; just keeping my hands to the work He has set me to. I have been getting my house in order and seeking His face. On Sunday after church, the boys and I were carrying things upstairs to make room. I was at the washing machine when the boys called out that their Dad was home. You know I had a vision that my husband would drive up the drive and just sweep me off my feet. I told the Lord that I knew that was slightly romantic and like a fairy tale, but still I would love that. Well, as I walk to his truck to greet him, since he had not been home since the second week of January, he stepped out of the truck and said, “Lucy, I’m home.” Being the most astute person that I am, I didn’t gather the implication. He hugged me tight and I asked how he was. I asked what he was doing. He showed me that he had packed up his truck and that he was home for good, with no reservations and totally committed to me. PRAISE GOD!!! The prayers of the righteous availeth much. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for standing in the gap with me; for accepting me and loving me …encouraging me and teaching me. We will be going to church together Sunday.
He told me that he ate breakfast at the NCP’s restaurant that morning and then went to the place and packed up his things. He said that he had made a commitment 20 years ago to me and God, and he keeps his commitments. He said that he loves me and will never leave me again. In his words: “In for a penny, in for a pound.” My husband said he told the NCP that he was not able to give himself to anyone other than me because he didn’t belong to himself, but to me. He is seeking God and I know the Lord has a mighty work selected for him. We do not have any resentments or walls. God is the God of Restoration and Healing. He is faithful to His promises. I love you Father. Thank you for your Word and for your Holy Spirit which illumines what is needed to be taught. Thank you for your son, Jesus, whose Blood washes away all condemnation and iniquities, revealing the pure white snow in our souls.”
What an awesome testimony of God’s faithfulness! All He wants us to do is let our spouses leave when they want to leave, seeking and living in peace, as we leave everything in His more than capable hands! He just wants us to put HIM first and trust and obey Him! His promises are true and sure, but we have to believe them to receive their awesome benefits and blessings! And when we do, WE WILL HAVE VICTORY IN JESUS!!!
way to go God, that is so awesome! Thank you Lord for moving so mightely in this family’s lives. Keep the prayers going, Rosalie, to keep that precious family safe from the evil one. Take care of them. Love Ya, Diane
