WE “MUST” ACKNOWLEDGE GOD IN “ALL” OUR WAYS by Dan Spitz

Sometimes we let an abundance of fear keep us from doing what God wants us to do; it’s a risk. But unlike some risks we encounter, those that involve the will of God have His promise of victory; so there is really no risk at all in standing for our marriages. Satan wants nothing more than for us to be afraid; to fear that our marriages will not be restored and healed to the magnificent glory of our Heavenly Father. The following is part of a devotional I recently received from Glenn Jackson, and it’s another affirmation that God is indeed who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do according to His Word.

WE “MUST” ACKNOWLEDGE GOD IN “ALL” OUR WAYS

Somehow, when we continue to acknowledge the Father and His Word in “all” our ways we always come firing out the other side of any test or trial much stronger and much better prepared for carrying out the fullness of the Father’s plan for our life and ministry. It sometimes takes a while to learn this – especially when we almost “seem to be overwhelmed” at times. But God is faithful and smiles in the face of even our greatest adversity for He “knows” the glorious end He seeks to – and will – accomplish in us. We must “know”, by faith, that everything is “right on schedule” as we hold fast to the revelation knowledge in our heart with a steadfast faith and, also, continue to seek a revelation of His highest will and purpose, daily, as things unfold in His perfect timing. Now is the time to gain the “necessary” revelation and, THEN, then go forth boldly by the leading and empowerment of the Holy Spirit – for there is great importance in even the most “seemingly insignificant” act of obedience, in the eternal scheme of things and, thus, we should never be a people who despise, in any way, “small beginnings”.

Alittle off the subject, but I just read a devotional by Greg Laurie that said if we can sin and don’t feel guilt and conviction by the Holy Spirit then we have to question if we are true Christians? I know my husband has accepted Jesus as his Savior years ago…he has been living on his own terms and straying away from him, but I pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him. I believe that he belongs to the Lord, and he will lead him back. This was just alittle discouraging to me when I first read it, but like this article says we must know by FAITH that God is right on schedule with things no matter what we see or hear as discouraging. That is what I am holding onto!

Sin is sin whether we confess to be a Christian or deny being a Christian. Our sin cuts us off from God no matter who we are, if we don’t confess and repent. Certainly if we don’t feel the need or the conviction to do that; we are going to be cut off from God. Fortunately, God is a forgiving, loving God who is waiting for us to come to Him or back to Him. God loves your husband as much as He loves anyone and He will hear and answer your prayers for him. Bless you as you stand and pray for your husband, believing and trusting in the God you love and who loves you. Jesus died for all of us and we are all covered in His blood for redemption and salvation. “The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is His ear to deaf to hear you call.” Psalm 59:1

Father, I lift up to You Kathy and her husband. You know every detail of their situation and I know You are working for restoration as I speak. Lord, so many others have similar circumstances, so I ask that You would surround them all with Godly, Bible-believing people who will truly embrace them according to Your Word and promises. I pray for each and every person to have the knowledge and understanding of Your Word so they will possess the wisdom to make decisions based on what You want them to do. You make it so clear about marriage and divorce. Lord, I honor and glorify You for all that You have done in thousands of marriages and relationships that appeared in the flesh to be hopeless and over. You are the God of restoration and healing- yesterday, today and forever. I love You, Lord, and in the mighty name of Jesus – Amen
