Be Sure to Count Your Blessings this Christmas!
Since my dad has been hospitalized for over two weeks now and also had brain surgery, I’m probably more mindful than usual of just how much we all have to be grateful for and how we tend to take way too much for granted. So I want to wish everyone a very Joyous Christmas and encourage you all to count every blessing and to cherish every moment you’re blessed to share with those you love. Time really does pass quickly and we allow the devil to steal our peace and joy when we focus on what we don’t have instead of all we do have.
We’re truly blessed to serve and worship a great and mighty God and I’m always encouraged to remember that He is our sun and shield, gives grace and glory, and will never withhold any good thing from us when we walk uprightly before Him (Psalm 84:11)! So may you all be blessed today as you keep your eyes on Jesus and count your many blessings–the greatest being the birth of our Lord and Savior and all that means to us as Christians!!!
