About FAM Ministries
Faith And Marriage Ministries (FAMM) is dedicated to providing encouragement, support and spiritual guidance to those experiencing the devastating pain and disappointment of separation and divorce, especially those who don’t want to be divorced. The Bible tells us in Revelation 12:11 that Satan is defeated by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, and since we know he wants to destroy our marriages, the one flesh, holy covenant created by God, we confidently base Faith And Marriage Ministries on our faith in God and His written Word, along with the power of the blood of Jesus Christ and the Word of our testimony to defeat every work of the devil. So this website and the Faith And Marriage Fellowship (FAM) are intended to provide an appropriate and effective forum to promote growth in our knowledge and understanding of the Word, love, power and grace of our precious Lord and Savior through sharing the word of our testimony as we support and encourage each other while standing for the restoration of our covenant marriages–the first marriage for both spouses as long as they both live.
The Faith And Marriage Fellowship is a close fellowship of Christian friends and individuals sharing similar interests, values, beliefs and experiences in a congenial Christian atmosphere, offering support, encouragement, friendship and spiritual guidance, united by the love and faith we have in Jesus Christ and the power and promise of God’s written Word.
FAM is an interactive online fellowship of Christians sharing and promoting the belief that marriage as a one flesh covenant relationship created by God and that what God has joined together, no man can ever separate or put asunder. We’re also dedicated to promoting this biblical truth and related principles worldwide.
FAM members realize that the divorce rate in our society is now higher among those professing to be Christians than those who don’t, and want to reverse this trend by educating Christians and others about what the Bible actually teaches concerning marriage, divorce and remarriage, and by providing the encouragement and support for those standing for marriage restoration that’s difficult to find anywhere else.
FAM members believe that with God ALL things are possible, particularly the restoration of our marriages, even when a divorce has already taken place.
FAM members understand that we must first seek the restoration of our walk and relationship with the Lord, and that when we delight our selves in Him by committing ourselves to His ways and trusting Him, He will then give us the desires of our hearts, and make our righteousness shine like the dawn and the justice of our cause like the noon day sun!
FAMM does not promote or elevate any person or the teachings, writings and resources of any single individual. The only One we seek to promote and elevate is Jesus Christ, and the power and promise of His written Word. Therefore, the Bible is the only authority on all matters and issues of interest to FAMM, which we believe is the inspired and infallible word of God, and all principals, values and resources we promote and support are based on biblical teachings.
FAM is not affiliated with and does not support or promote any particular denomination, so all members are expected to be considerate and respectful of those with differing religious backgrounds. We’re united by our belief in God’s plan and purpose for the covenant of marriage, issues concerning separation, divorce and remarriage, and the restoration of our marriages as described and commanded in His written Word.
FAM members agree to conduct themselves in full accordance with all biblical teachings, especially when interacting with other FAM members online or in any other manner of communication, including participation in any of the FAM Reunions, on the FAM conference calls and on the private website. That particularly includes following the general posting guidelines and those posted for each category before publishing posts or responses.
