What An Awesome God We Serve!
March 27th, 2006What an AWESOME God we serve! I’m almost overwhelmed with awe of my Lord and Savior this morning! I know the things I’ve been seeing Him do in the lives of some of the FAM members are real and true, but it’s all SO incredible that it’s almost unbelievable! Also, I am so humbled and so much in awe of how the Lord is using this ministry, and as so many things are when the Lord is in control, it has far exceeded anything I ever could have imagined. These numbers might not mean much to anyone not familiar with websites and all things related, but to anyone who knows, they are astounding! I first published the site around the middle of February and so far this month alone, with NO advertising, we have had over 500 unique visitors to the site, including 335 visitors who accessed the site through the search engines by using 204 different search phrases! We’re ranking very high in the search engines in a very competitive category on the major search engines, and almost all of our traffic comes from Google and MSN. We have visitors from EVERY part of the earth (a total of 31 different countries), even regions I had never heard of before! And there are now nine members of the FAM fellowship and we already have three local FAM Home Groups! And God’s only just begun!
The most rewarding part of it all is seeing how the Lord is working in the lives of our members and knowing how the praise testimonies are glorifying the Lord and how they will be used to defeat Satan and every wicked weapon he intends to destroy our marriages. I am ttruly blessed to actually see and be part of the awesome things the Holy Spirit has been doing in the supernatural realm, and we know it’s Him, because there is NO possible natural explanation! It’s also awe inspiring how many new and exciting ideas the Holy Spirit keeps giving me for the ministry. Trust me, being creative and inventive is FAR from being one of my strong suits, so I know that is the Lord at work in me!
The passage of scripture I want to share this morning is what the Lord placed on my heart as I read an awesome testimony about God’s amazing grace and love from one of the FAM members yesterday. May it encourage you as much as it does me.
Romans 8:
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
